  1. Hi, Teri!
I see you're planning another Zentangle workshop 101 and 102 this coming fall.

Will the Zentangle 102 workshop include dark colored or black tiles with light or white colors?

I also ordered a quilting kit from the lady that wrote the book, Zen Quilting Workbook. Her kit consists of pina cotton for the top, piece of batting and backing, dissappearing ink, 1 ea .01 micron pen, pencil, 5 tiles, freezer paper, etc.
This workbook shows you how to take your same zentangle you drew on your 3-1/2" tile and have you blow it up 200% so it will equal a 7" square template they have in their workbook and you use your dissappearing ink pen and trace your zentangle design onto your pima cotton fabric.

Once you're done with your traced zentangle, you sandwish your fabrics and batting together, set up your sewing machine with black thread and follow the lines on your zentangle, but they have to be continuous (especially the strings). This workbook is very detailed in their instructions.

You can purchase a kit - munus the book for $ 24.95, with the book $ 40.00++. They sell other quilting accessories. Wish I have the book with me now so I could post the website. I also purchased some black tiles from them and a white gel roller pen and a white charcoal pencil.

I haven't finished coloring my square piece from your Zentangle 102 I attended, but I will. I still haven't gotten around to checking my pen inventory to see if I have the same type of pens you use for your colored zentangle quilt squares.
